This blend is recommended by veterinarians for dogs requiring a diet restricted in fat. However, just because the diet needs to be lower in fat doesn’t mean it has to be lacking in flavor – dogs naturally love the taste of freshly baked Cod blended with fresh whole foods. Since it does not meet the AAFCO standard for fat content, it is labeled for intermittent feeding only unless recommended by a veterinarian. Due to its low-fat content, this blend is also lower in calories.
