Yushira is the driving force behind Aleyr. She is on a mission to make holistic pet care convenient and accessible to our community. Navigating the pet industry as a pet parent is not easy, due to the lack regulation in pet food. Yushira is passionate about bringing honest and unbiased pet nutrition advising to our pet parents.

Yushira's path to Aleyr was rather unconventional. She got her bachelors degree Michigan State where she played on the varsity golf team. She then played professional golf and soon ended up working in commercial real estate. When an opportunity to own a local holistic pet store came to her, she couldn’t resist as it allowed her to combine her passion for healthy living and her love for animals.

Sid is head of, well, everything. In addition, to providing hands-on support for his team, he mainly oversees purchasing, operations, order fulfillment and business growth. Sid is passionate about customer experience and creating value for his local community.

Sid has owned and operated pharmacies for over 16-years. While his time in pharmaceutical care has been rewarding, creating Aleyr provided him with a unique outlet to continue to contribute to his community. On the rare occasion that Sid has ‘free time’ he enjoys playing cricket and hanging out with his family.

Mary takes care of our in-store shopping experience and provides our hands-on nutrition counselling. She our go-to pet mom when it comes to any health and wellness concerns you have for your pet. Mary is a certified nutrition trainer with a wealth of knowledge of specialty and premium foods for both dogs and cats. She provides supplement counselling and experienced-based knowledge of canine and feline behavior. In addition, Mary has been a proud supporter of Shar-Pei rescue’s for over 10-years where she worked at adoption events, fostered and provided medical and nutrition care.

Mei-Li is co-chief of customer happiness. She loves saying hi to all our in-store Aleyr shoppers!

Brittany has spent the last four years growing in the pet industry. Her passion has always been animals ever since she was little. However, when she got her cat, Darter she discovered a new found love for the holistic pet lifestyle. Darter struggled with kidney and urinary issues for most of his young life. She realized the value of nutrition through his journey, and has been treating him holistically using human grade cat food and Chinese herbs. Brittany is passionate about sharing her knowledge with her fellow pet parents. During her free time she enjoys being outdoors, yoga, meditation and traveling.
